Our expert staff will help you find the perfect locations and service providers throughout Carolina Beach for everything from meeting, dining and sleeping to plugging in, working out and logging on. Here's just some of the assistance we provide:
Pre-Convention Planning
Our sales representatives will provide information regarding meeting hotels, motels, off-site event facilities, exhibit space, attractions, recreation and entertainment. We will prepare a formal bid proposal including assistance in securing competitive guest room rates and arrangements for site inspections. We will also assist with presentations to aid planners in presenting our proposal to their board or site selection committee.
Program Assistance
Our service representative will provide a "one-stop resource" by assisting you in locating resources regarding local caterers, florists, photographers, office equipment, promotional materials, souvenir ideas, security, tradeshow and exhibit needs, speakers, musicians, entertainers and off-site activities. We will assist in planning spouse programs, children's activities and tours. Step-on guides are available for a fee. Sample tour itineraries and pre-and post-tours and activities are also available. We will arrange a welcome address or letter from area dignitaries.
Destination Literature
Complimentary Visitor Guides, Guide Maps, Attractions Maps, and complimentary bag for goodies are available for your convention or event attendees based on hotel room usage. Additional quantities are available for a nominal fee.
Registration Assistance
Complimentary Registration and Visitor Information assistance is available. The Bureau will supply, free of charge, one registrar for four consecutive hours based on a minimum of 50 room nights. Thereafter, there will be a charge per hour per person.
Publicity & Promotion
We offer complimentary assistance to you in promoting your convention or event. Contacts and lists of local and state media are available. Destination information is available for press purposes including news releases, slides, video, electronic press kit and CD-ROM. Local media interviews can also be arranged. Customized articles for your newsletter can also be written.
