Zach Hanner is an actor, writer, director and musician that has lived in Wilmington since 1993. Formerly the Artistic Director for TheatreNOW, he currently serves as Executive Director of Superstar Academy, a nonprofit acting outreach program for local youth. He is married to landscape designer Dagmar Cooley and they have one son, Beck Hanner, 15. Zach is the bandleader and ukulele player for the local Hawaiian band, Da Howlies, and plays guitar and sings in Wilmington’s only year-round Irish band, The Blarney Brogues.
