Jazz at the CAM: Paolo André Gualdi

  • overview
  • The Jazz at the Cameron Concert Series continues with jazz renditions of classical pieces interpreted by Paolo André Gualdi.  Following in the steps of great artists like Jacques Loussier and George Cables, enjoy jazz “reinterpretations” of famous classical compositions with the invaluable assistance of Natalie Boeyink on bass, Jon Hill on drums, and Danijela Žeželj-Gualdi on violin. Paolo Gualdi started playing the piano when he was five years old and diligently studied at classical conservatories.  During his teen years, he watched Clint Eastwood’s Bird, a biopic about the legendary jazz saxophonist Charlie Parker and Jazz began to have a profound impact on his musical life.
