  • overview
  • Widely known for her Public Commissions (including the colorful Bottle Chapel at Airlie Gardens) Virginia Wright-Frierson, a versatile artist and author now living in Wilmington, celebrates the aging female figure in The Lived-In Body: Celebrating Women Over 65.  This collection of works celebrates those who, as the artist describes it, "have lifted babies 1,000 times, gardened, cleaned, cooked and taken care of others."
