The National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba

  • overview
  • The National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba, conducted by Enrique Pérez-Mesa, makes its North Carolina debut with a Latin-flavored and dance-inspired program that includes Ravel’s Boléro.  This concert features De Falla’s sizzling The Three-Cornered Hat and mesmerizing, seductive selections by Cuba’s 20th-century masters, only now being discovered by American audiences.  Since its inception in 1960, the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba has been instrumental in developing and introducing Cuban and Latin American music to the international classical music community.
