Jungle Rapids Family Fun Park
Round the family up for an action-packed day at Jungle Rapids Family Fun Park, where there’s an attraction for every member of the family to enjoy. Make a splash with a trip to the water park which features a kiddie splash pool, million gallon wave pool, lazy river and fun-filled water slides including Volcano Mountain and the Side Winder. Face off in friendly competitions at Jungle Lagoon Golf, racing around the track at the Grand Prix Go-Karts or at the Laser Force Arena. Explore 67 acres of Gilded Age gardens and lakes at Airlie Gardens where you can admire the azaleas, gaze at the camellias, explore the region’s first butterfly house and stand in the shade of the Airlie Oak, which dates back to the year 1545. New Hanover County Arboretum
The New Hanover County Arboretum is comprised of almost 7 acres of beautiful educational gardens, including a 3/4 acre water garden with colorful Koi and lilies, a Japanese Garden with an authentic tea house and numerous Japanese maples, a children's cottage with fantasy characters painted inside and a rose garden.
Wilmington Municipal Golf Course
The Wilmington Municipal Golf Course was designed by Donald Ross in 1926 to provide the public with a quality, championship 18 hole golf course at affordable prices. A $1.5 million renovation project restored the course to Donald Ross' original design by doubling the greens and restoring the bunkers, along with upgrading golf cart paths and the tee boxes. This revitalized gem is a must-play.
Mayfaire Town Center

Run by Wilmington natives and lovers of fine craft beer and wine, the Wilmington Homebrew Supply has all things needed to try your own luck at home-brewing. For those who are interested in watching the professionals handle the brews, every Saturday there is a free brewing demonstration and on Fridays, newly-released craft beers will be available for tastings.
