Wilmington, NC: On August 25-26 travel industry partners in Wilmington and its island beaches will welcome the North Carolina Chapter Community Associations Institute during the CAI-NC 2022 Annual Conference.

“We are thrilled that the N.C. Community Associations Institute will be returning to Wilmington for their 2022 Conference,” states John Sneed, vice-president of sales & services for the Wilmington and Beaches Convention and Visitors Bureau. “Wilmington last hosted the CAI-NC annual conference in 2019. We look forward to providing a memorable coastal Carolina experience with opportunities to showcase restaurants, breweries, and other downtown businesses, several of which have opened since their last conference in Wilmington.”

Approximately 300 guests, in addition to exhibitors and speakers are expected to attend the CAI-NC 2022 Annual Conference with events held at the Wilmington Convention Center. The majority of attendees will stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Wilmington Riverfront.

The two-day conference will open on Thursday with a ‘sip-and-stroll' welcome hour whereby attendees will chat with exhibitors while enjoying drinks and light bites. Attendees will then be free to enjoy dinner on their own at one of downtown Wilmington’s many wonderful restaurants, followed by a social gathering at Ironclad Brewery. Friday’s conference events include three expos, professional development sessions, a luncheon in the grand ballroom, and an ice cream social to close out this year’s conference.

Serving community association leaders, residents, professional managers and service providers, CAI-NC exists to develop professionalism, effective leadership and responsible community engagement through education and advocacy.
