Wilmington, NC: On June 5-8, travel industry partners in Wilmington and its island beaches will welcome the 24th edition of the flagship Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference. This year marks the first time that Wilmington has hosted this event.

Attendees will stay at a variety of hotels including Embassy Suites by Hilton Wilmington Riverfront, Hotel Ballast Tapestry Collection by Hilton and the Best Western Plus Coastline Inn.

“After 20+ years in Myrtle Beach, the move to Wilmington provides the opportunity for the event to continue to grow and expand both the comprehensive lineup of educational sessions and the expo floor, where innovative new products are showcased,” states Event Director, Jennifer Salvadori. “Our team, sponsors and industry partners are very much looking forward to hosting the largest attendance thus far for the Techno brand.”

This event provides a unique education experience that blends the digital forensics, cybersecurity and eDiscovery industries for collaboration between government and private sectors. With more than 120 Seminar Sessions, attendees will learn about new tools, the current state of the industry, trends, case studies and more. Evening events will allow additional time to interact and develop meaningful relationships with cybersecurity and digital forensics professionals.

This year’s keynote speaker, Joseph “Rich" Baich, Chief Information Security Officer and Director of the Office of Cyber Security - Central Intelligence Agency, will share how the cyber threat landscape continues to evolve; threats are emerging as result of geopolitical issues and technology advancements. The cyber security skilled workforce continues to struggle with more than 1,000,000 unfilled job openings.
