Changing special exhibits add to the permanent collection including a scale model of the 1863 Wilmington waterfront.The Museum is also a Smithsonian Affiliate - a national outreach program to facilitate the loan of Smithsonian artifacts and traveling exhibitions, as well as develop innovative educational collaborations locally and nationally.
